Can I change my glasses frame color?
So the other week i broke my frames and went to the doctor to pick out new ones. My old ones were brown and i wanted a change like black but none of the frames fit me. He said he could order my old frames with new prescription, picked them up today and noticed my old frames on the rack that wasnt there before but in black and upset i didnt get those. Is there any way that I could pop out the lens of my glasses..which i can..and paint the frames to black or red? what paint? bad idea? ehhh ive had these frames foreverr
You could probably paint them if you use the right paint. But it's not going to look the same. Its probably going to look like you painted them. But the main reason not to do it is it might void the warranty. Most manufactures won't take back a frame thats been modified in that kind of way. I would go back to where you got them and explain what happened. Most places will switch out the frame for the same model in another color without any problem.
