Simple scenario: Boy meets girl. Boy:African-American, slightly homely, not very good with the ladies. Girl: Jewish (non-practicing), slightly chubbish, slight experience with boys. Boy & girl hit it off, become friends...become more. Father doesn't like boy because he's black BUT girl has sister that dates black men & doesn't mind (or chooses to ignore). Girl shags sister's boyfriend several times over course of relationship; boy takes her back Girl has pregnancy scare by sister's man; boy pays for preg test & promises that if positive, will tell parents that baby is his. After a year & a half, girl moves away with parents upstate. Boy & girl have long-distance relationship, but never see each other again. Five years pass. Boy remains loyal...girl less so...boy takes her back. Girl tells boy that she's getting married. Boy nearly drinks bottle of pine oil to celebrate. Boy loses girl...never dates again. Fifteen years pass. Boy thinking about throwing self off bridge. Comments?
