How would i go about getting a Golf Scholarship to the USA?
im a 16 year old with a handicap of 11....but i play on a diffacult links course....i would play to about 7-8 on a parkland...please help...
Colleges control scholarships, so you need to start contacting golf coaches at places you are interested in attending. There are also pay services that try to match up athletes with schools (basically, they make a tape of your "work" that you can market and help in getting together a list of coaches to contact, etc.), but scholarship opportunities are tight due to golf being a non-revenue sport.
Start contacting colleges on your own and see how it goes...then decide your next step. If you're good enough, someone will be interested.
